Narita Express guide: airport to Tokyo with a JR Pass
The Narita Express, also called N'EX, links Narita Airport with central Tokyo. It is the most comfortable way in and is fully included in the JR Pass.

A one way Narita Express ticket is around 3,070 yen to Tokyo station. With a JR Pass the train is free, including a reserved seat.

How to use with a JR Pass
- Activate the JR Pass at the JR East Travel Service Center at Narita Airport.
- Reserve a free seat at the same counter for the next departure.
- Use the manned gate to board, follow the N'EX signs to the platform.

Tips
- Large luggage racks are at each car end, lock them with the included strap.
- Free WiFi on board, signs in English and Japanese.
- Pick the front car for Shinjuku and the rear car for Yokohama at Tokyo station.
