Kohad, mida Osakas külastada
oma Japan Rail Pass

Osaka lossi sakurahooaeg

Tere tulemast Osakasse

A city in the southern part of Japan, like Tokyo in many ways with its large districts and parks. The city is a popular travel destination for many tourists due to Universal Studios Japan and its Super Nintendo World as well as the wonderful shopping and restaurant street Dōtonbori.

Dotonbori jõe paat

DŌTONBORI

Dōtonbori / Dōtombori is one of the largest tourist destinations in the city. The area is recognized for its large neon signs along a nice canal with lots of restaurants and shops. Around the area, there are several passages with more restaurants, shops, arcade halls, street food stalls, and other fun to brighten the evening with. We recommend a visit during the evening for the best experience.

For those who love to shop, Dōtonbori also has 4 Don Quixote shops, one of which has a Ferris wheel on the outside of the building. Here you will also find Shinsaibashi-Suji Shopping Street, a 680-meter-long shopping street under a roof with shops for all ages and interests.

The area has a very strong focus on food and we highly recommend a Yakiniku restaurant along the main street called Gyu-Kaku. The restaurant is divided over 7 floors with room for 5 parties per floor. Here you get a real Yakiniku experience at a favorable price.

nara hirve vaba kõndimine

NARA PARK

Nara on piirkond, mis meelitab ligi 1,200 vabalt peetavast hirvest koosneva avatud pargi tõttu, mis on otse Osaka lähedal, palju turiste. Parki külastamine on tasuta.

Loomad on metsikud, kuid väga taltsad ja suure rahvahulgaga harjunud. Kohapeal saab soetada küpsiseid, millega hirve kenade piltide jaoks meelitada.

The park consists of many nice open areas and ponds to rest your legs at. In addition to this, there is also a large museum and several temples.

Nara Park on JR Passiga külastajatele umbes 15-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel JR Nara jaamast.

However, the bar can be a little hard to find. Once you enter the service center, just go straight ahead and take the stairs as high up as you can get and then look for a smaller staircase in the corner signposted with “Blue Bird”.

Akvaariumi sissepääs

OSAKA AKVAArium

Minoh pargi juga

MINOH PARK

Värvid on tavaliselt parimad novembri lõpus.

Pargi peamine vaatamisväärsus on Minoo juga, mille kõrgus on 33 meetrit. Sinna jõudmiseks on 3 km pikkune matkarada, mis algab klHankyu Minoo Station and then goes through a valley along the Minoo River.

Umedast Minoo parki jõudmiseks kulub kuni 30 minutit.

Mereandide turg

KUROMONI TURG

Vana tänavatoit

SHINSEKAI

Shinsekai means “New World” but is one of Osaka’s older and more retro areas. The area is popular for good food, older culture, and retro arcades.

Piirkonna keskosa on Tsutenkaku torn, vaatetorn nagu Eiffeli torn, kus on võimalus tõusta ja saada ilus vaade kogu piirkonnale. Väga soovitatav õhtuti.

Shinsekai is also home to Spa World which is a facility with several hot springs, pools, and spa departments where you can relax after a busy day in the city.

Punased shiinid

SUMIYOSHI TAISHA

Osaka’s Sumiyoshi Taisha is one of the country’s oldest shrines. All buildings have a unique style, called Sumiyoshi-zukuri which is characterized by straight roofs that are decorated by two sets of fork-shaped surfaces and five horizontal rollers, as well as et the entrance is under the gable, and the house is surrounded by a fence.

You will find the temple in the southern part of Osaka, just a short walk from Sumiyoshi Taisha Station via the Nankai Main Line. As you walk towards the main building, you will be greeted by the beautiful Sorihashi bridge that creates a unique high arch over a pond.

Umdea taevahoone pilvelõhkuja

UMEDA SKY HOONE

Umeda Sky Building on Osaka üks tuntumaid vaatamisväärsusi, kuna näete hooneid kõikjal linnas.

We recommend visiting the observatory on the 39th floor called “the Garden Observatory”. From here you get an outstanding view of Osaka while you are surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers.

Elav kaubatänav

TENJINBASHISUJI

If you haven’t managed to satisfy your shopping cravings, this is the place to go. Tenjinbashi-suji is Japan’s longest shopping street 2.5 km and has over 600 shops and restaurants. The whole street is under cover so don’t let bad weather stop you from going here.

Kas on enne saabumist veel midagi teada?

Ärge muretsege, andsime teile allpool kõige olulisema teabe.

Osaka koosneb kahest lennujaamast, Kansai rahvusvahelisest lennujaamast (KIX) Ja Osaka rahvusvaheline lennujaam (Itami, ITM).

Osakas olles on metrooga lihtne linnas ringi liikuda.

Kontrollige siiski JR-i infolaua töötajatelt, milline rong sobib teie lõppsihtkohale kõige paremini, kuna mõned hotellid on Shin-Osakale lähemal.

Two to three days are ideal to explore the highlights of Osaka. This allows you enough time to enjoy its famous street food, explore the bustling Dotonbori district, visit historic Osaka Castle, and experience the city’s vibrant shopping and entertainment scenes.

The train ride from Osaka to Kyoto is quick and convenient, typically taking about 3 hours depending on the type of train service used. The JR Kyoto Line and several private rail lines, including Hankyu and Keihan, offer frequent connections between these two cities. If you are planning to explore more of Japan, consider ostmine a Japan Rail Pass before your trip. This pass provides unlimited access to most JR trains nationwide.

Osaka is famously known as Japan’s kitchen, and its food scene is legendary. The city is particularly famous for “takoyaki” (octopus balls), “okonomiyaki” (savory pancakes), and “kushikatsu” (fried skewered meat and vegetables). Each dish represents the flavor-packed street food culture that Osaka is celebrated for. Visitors should indulge in these local specialties to experience the true taste of Osaka.
