Yamanote Line with a JR Pass: ride Tokyo's loop for free
The Yamanote Line is the green loop that ties together Shinjuku, Shibuya, Tokyo and Ueno stations. It runs every few minutes and is fully covered by the JR Pass.

Is the Tokyo Metro covered?
No. Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway are separate operators and need their own ticket or IC card.
