Getting to Tokyo Disney Resort with the JR Pass

Tokyo Disney Resort is one of the easiest theme parks to reach by train. Your JR Pass covers the ride from central Tokyo all the way to the gates.

    01

    Route from Tokyo Station

    • Take the JR Keiyo Line from Tokyo Station, fully covered by the JR Pass.
    • Ride 15 minutes to Maihama Station.
    • Exit on the south side for the Disney Resort monorail or the 5 minute walk to Tokyo Disneyland.
    • DisneySea is one monorail stop further, around 220 yen, not included in the JR Pass.
    02

    Best train times

    • Park opens at 9:00, board a 7:45 train to arrive before the morning rush.
    • Trains leave Tokyo Station every 5 to 10 minutes.
    • Last train back to Tokyo runs around 23:30.
    03

    Tips for park days

The JR Keiyo Line platform is a 10 minute walk from the main Tokaido Shinkansen platforms at Tokyo Station, so allow extra time. Use coin lockers at Maihama if your hotel is in Tokyo and you arrived straight from the shinkansen.
