    Frequently asked questions

    Quick answers to common questions.

Is 10 days enough for Hiroshima?

Yes. A two night stop in Hiroshima fits comfortably and includes a Miyajima day trip.

    Do I need a 14 day pass?

Not if you time the 7 day pass for the long rides. Many travellers buy a 7 day pass for the second half of a 10 day trip.

Are bullet train seats free with the pass?

Yes. Reserve at any JR ticket office or online for no extra cost.
