Exchange our Japan Rail Pass at the same time?
Hi we are a couple of friends that are travelling to Japan together but we arrive on separate dates. Can I exchange my JR Pass before my friends or do we need to do it at the same time since we bought them together?

Hi Isabel, your JR Pass can be exchanged at any time within 90 days after your purchase. You do not need to wait for your friends if you need to use your japan rail pass before their arrival.
