Здравейте, в момента се намирам в Япония. Забравих портмонето си с JR pass в един от вагоните на шинкансен. Подаден е сигнал към загубени вещи на гарата, но нямам JR PASS , защото е в портмонето и не мога да се движа спокойно и да стигна до Токио за полета ми. В такава ситуация не мога ли да приложа документа, че съм подала информация, че е загубено портмоне и да ми издадат нов jR пасс докато го намерят, за да мога да се придвижа за останалите ми дни тук.
Hi, that’s very sad to hear. JR does not allow re-issue of JR Passes I’m affraid.
Passes that has been activated, lost, damaged or stolen can not be refunded or re-issued. We do not have the option in our system provided by JR, and our policy and contract does not allow it.
I would get in contact with the JR office again and hope they find your JR Pass, japanese people are great at returning and turning in lost items – even JR Passes.
Sorry if it wasn’t the answer you were looking for, but we don’t have any system nor option to re-issue any passes, even if I wish I could have been of help.
