Custom Itinerary
Emelie & Lina
What did they do in Japan?
Emelie and Lina visited Japan with their partners and family for 10 days in October 2024 and received a custom itinerary full of things for both the kids and adults to enjoy. The trip started in Osaka with a couple of days with focus on the kids, including a visit to Nara to see the bowing deers, a full day at Universal Studios USJ Super Nintendo World with a nice evening dinner at the Blue Birds Roof Top Terrace next to Osaka Castle for the adults and shopping in Dotonbori with the lovely Shinsaibashi.
After a couple of days in Osaka, it was finaly time for Tokyo! We found a nice hotel in Asakusa, only 100 meters from the Senso-ji temple – a real bargain according to both Lina and Emelie. They wanted to take the opportunity to experience and take in the big city life with a bit of luxury and shopping in Ginza, Shibuya, Harajuku and Asakusa before it was time for Emelie and her family to visit DisneySea & Fantasy Springs while Lina and her partner took a full day of shopping and drinks in Roppongi. The favorite stop was probably a drink at the wonderful Rooftop Bar Andaz Tokyo, Toranomon Hills.
The days flew by and it was now time to head back down to Kyoto to end the trip with a bit of “old Japan” again. We made sure they visited Fushimi Inari-taisha, Gion with the wonderful Yaska Pagoda and Kiumizu-dera temple, K36 bar and plenty of nice restaurants and bars before the flight home from Kansai Airport. All in all, a great trip with many new memories for both groups, who also had the opportunity to split up on certain days, but at the same time have a couple of wonderful days and many nice evenings together.
