Can I travel from Okayama to Nagoya using Kansai Wide Area Pass if I pay for fare between Kyoto and Nagoya?

Hi Nozomi, yes you can use the JR San’yo Main Line to Himeji and change to JR Tokaido Sanyo Main Line New Rapid to Kyoto but will have to buy single ticket from Kyoto to Nagoya.
