Hi, you may use the Hikari Shinkansen and Sakura Shinkansen from Kyoto to Hiroshima. It’s included in the JR Pass and run a couple of times per hour.
Normaly you have to change train in Shin-Osaka, depending on when you intend to travel during the day. The entire route is about 2h per way.
