On May 6, 2025, I lost my grey SwissGear-brand backpack in Hikari 611, Car 2, Seat 18, on the right upper shelf. It was around 21:45, on the final stop at Kyoto.

Hi Albert, I’m affraid you’ll have to get in touch with JR in Japan for further support. Lost and found is very big and open in Japan, it’s rare that anything forgotten gets stolen. Get in touch with JR and it’s most likely they have it stored for you. You will have to ask them to get in touch with the final destion station of the Hikari 611 to see if they have it there.
Wish I could be oof more help but we can not provide you with assistans from our end regarding lost items on the train as we only sell Japan Rail Passes.
