Hi Oscar, smaller pets such as dogs, cats and pigeons may be brought on the trains for small fee of 290 JPY.

Keep however in mind that the animals has to be in a travel-case and can’t be bigger than 120 cm in width & height and the combined weight of your animal and it’s case can’t exceed 10 kg in total.

The entire pet has to fit inside the travel case / holder for your pet. It’s not allowed to carry your pet in your arms during the trainride or in the train station.

The station reserves the right to refuse your animal on the train incase the animal may cause any inconvenience for other travellers.
